are Scott Metals Incorporated's specialties?
Scott Metals is your full-service steel processor. We provide
laser plate cutting 24 hours a day. Other capabilities include
CNC Punch Press, Laser Cutting, Metal Fabrication, Laser Plate
Cutting and High Definition Plasma Cutting. We ofer Custom
Fabrication and ON-TIME DELIVERY. We take
on the most difficult requirements: Rolling, Forming and Welding
of the heaviest and longest steel plate. We offer Plasma Burning
and Contour Beveling for custom shapes and Laser Cutting in
the longest possible lengths.

What
kinds of items do you make?
We provide laser cut parts, custom formed channels, angles,
drums, zee's, cylinders, hat sections, hollow structurals,
orthotropic rib sections, crane booms, rings, tower sections,
frame rails, shells, barrels, casks, canisters, cones and
cone sections, gear blanks, flame cut parts, custom-beveled
shapes, aluminum foundry ladles, draglines, dipper lips, large
fabrications, magnesium melting crucibles, pressure vessels
and pressure vessel shells.

Do
you do heat treating, stress relief or other thermal procedures?
Yes. We maintain calibrated furnaces. Our modern, precise,
program-controllable furnaces have been certified for Military,
ASME, and commercial applications. Our large capacity can
handle most product sizes while maintaining consistent heat
treatment over wide temperature ranges.
